Contribute to Generation 1.5

You've navigated to a page that we think is not especially useful for Researchers. You can choose a different audience tab at right or return to The Generation 1.5 Project Home.

We collect papers from 1st and 2nd year students at the undergraduate level who speak a variety of Korean or Chinese at home, and who belong to either of these two groups:

  • students who have attended between 2 and 8 years of schooling in the US or Canada and speak Korean or Chinese at home;
  • international students from South Korea and China whose home language is not English.

Gen 1.5 is an official IRB-approved University of Michigan research project. Participation is voluntary and we will not require or ask for any sensitive information. When completed, the Gen 1.5 database will contain no names or other identifying information. Your anonymized paper will be accessible to teachers, academic researchers, and developers of language teaching materials.

If you would like to submit a paper, please contact Judy Dyer at jdyer@umich.edu.
