Contribute to Generation 1.5

We collect papers from 1st and 2nd year students at the undergraduate level who speak a variety of Korean or Chinese at home, and who belong to either of these two groups:

  • students who have attended between 2 and 8 years of schooling in the US or Canada and speak Korean or Chinese at home;
  • international students from South Korea and China whose home language is not English.

Contributing to the Generation 1.5 project is secure and anonymous. Gen 1.5 is an official IRB-approved University of Michigan research project. Participation is voluntary and we will not require or ask for any sensitive information. When completed, the web-based Gen 1.5 database will contain no names or other identifying information. Your anonymized paper will be accessible to teachers, academic researchers, and developers of language teaching materials.
